How to curl your hair with a flat-iron.

Can you create curls with a flat iron? You bet! If you use a flat iron with a rounded edge, you can create smooth, bouncy curls and sexy waves as easily as with a curling iron!  Bless the person who invented the flat iron. Previously, those of us with curly hair had to suffer through straight hair trends, laboring hours to straighten out unruly tresses only to achieve a fluffy mess. Now the formerly frizzy can easily reach super-smooth status. But a flat iron can also curl your hair. Yes, the exact same tool you've been using as a straightener does double duty to create gorgeous, bouncy curls.

Here's how-
What all you need is-
1) A flat iron.
2) A heat protector gel.
3) A hair spray.
4) Hair wax (optional)

[Warning - Do not use a flat iron on damp hair as it may burn your hair and damage them as well. Do not start curling immediately after washing your hair.]

Steps-

1) Brush your hair well ensuring that you have no tangles left. Apply the heat protector covering all the strands. Let it dry. Set the temperature of the flat iron according to your hair type.

2) Holding a 2-inch section of hair at the ends, place your flat iron a couple of inches from the roots horizontally and wrap the hair around the bottom plate, so that the ends are once again pointing downward.    Flat Iron Curl Step 1

3)  Pull the flat iron through the strand while maintaining tension on the curl. Do it slowly..the more slow you go..the better curls you get. (Make sure you don't burn your hair) :P    Flat Iron Curl Step 2

4)  Repeat on small sections of hair until it's all curled. Don't worry-the more you do it, the faster you'll get.  For bigger curls, use larger sections of hair.
5)  Use your fingers to comb through the curls and then spray with hairspray to make your curls last longer. Use aerosol hairspray to avoid overwetting you curls. Spray underneath, too.

Done! In 5 quick and easy steps...you get shiny, bouncy curls :)
Enjoy!
Look good. Feel good. :)
